There's a story here that I can't quite grasp -

While cutting & pasting, repainting and layering this image the seed of a short story whipped 'round the fringes of my mind. There's something about the way this character looks neither at, nor away, from the breaking waves of a rolling sea. You folks go ahead and enjoy while I sit and scratch my head for a while.
