What goes up, must come down -
"An Astronaut's Retirement Bungalow" digital collage by Mick Mather
"... it's been a long way but we're here ..." - Alan B. Shepard
I admire how you "push the envelope" (a "The Right Stuff" quote, I think) using subtlety - and noty bright red complimenting a vivid green - you are not sucker punching your audience. Kudos.
You are making delicate works that draw you in and make you think. You is me, sorry,
The cars yesterday reminded me of Britain, and toys, and the freeway grind. Great repetiton and use of pastel atop.
I am a freelance illustrator seeking assignments. My primary medium and working method is digital collage composed of manipulated photographs often combined with digital drawing & generative images. Please bookmark this blog and visit often. Art Directors and potential clients contact me for a PDF Portfolio Sample. Netlabels, bands and musicians can view samples of my CD Cover Art at Mick Mather Illustration located on Tumblr.
In another life I was an Arts & Culture consultant specializing in revitalization planning through creative public art projects and programs with Economic & Community Development Departments of towns, villages and cities. In these hard financial times this work is more important than ever and I still accept consultancy inquiries.
QUOTE OF THE MOMENT "The beginning of love is to let those we love be perfectly themselves, and not to twist them to fit out own image. Otherwise we love only the reflection of ourselves we find in them."
- Thomas Merton
"Sometimes it lasts in love
but sometimes it hurts
instead"
- Adele - "Someone Like You"

WOW! This is a lot to say thank you to ... thanks, John.
What about making a retirement house for me too? (This is a good beginning!)
hpy:
But of course! We can add on a little room for you, DD and the cats.
