Illustration Friday: Ripple -

"Ripple"
digital collage by Mick Mather
"... Aunt Helen was torn between life on the farm and moving to the Big City; every ripple of the old dusty road was a parting shot, a mockery of her lack of resolve that, better than bars on a cage, kept the yellowed brick path to freedom at bay ..." - Mick Mather

Aunt Helen, go for it, try the Big City! You can always return back.

Oh, I just love this image.

Thanks so much, Kevin. The only macaroni & cheese that I couldn't eat was at a mid-town Manhattan diner where the short order cook sent it out to the table smothered in a Caribbean-style tomato sauce! Of course, I've never had the privilege to try it as an MRE ... how say you?
