Sail away -
went down to the beach (to play one day)
and maggie discovered a shell that sang
so sweetly she couldn't remember her troubles
and milly befriended a stranded star
who's rays five languid fingers were
and molly was chased by a horrible thing
which ran sideways while blowing bubbles
and may came home with a smooth round stone
as small as a world and as large as alone
for whatever we lose (like a you or a me)
it's always ourselves we find in the sea ..."

Oh, that image is so inspirational for imagination!
Bubble, o bubble, fly to the sun!
And that rhyme sweet.

Mssr. e e cummings is an acquired taste for some ... I'm delighted that you like it, Susu. :)
I love the playfulness of this... and of course, the beautiful light coming through the trees:)

The photograph of the trees is an old one I discovered while turning some prints into digital files. There was something about it that took me by the elbow ... glad you enjoyed it too! :)
This may be my favourite paring yet! Love the care free, whismical feel of it. The tall, narrow shot of the lady is so perfect with the trees and her white top harmonises with the light in the photo.
10 outta 10 for you:)

Hmmm ... do I detect a wee bit of idyll worship? :)
