"... but tomorrow, dawn will come the way I picture her
barefoot and disheveled, standing outside my window
in one of the fragile cotton dresses of the poor;
she will look in at me with her thin arms extended,
offering a handful of birdsong, and a small cup of light ..."

Dependent upon which window, it's the same for me, John.

This is so cool, Mick! It has a retro look, like an old photo that has been in a box for a few decades. I love the colors and the scratches and the composition, not to mention the distress. Well done! ()p.s. - hope you're enjoying this snowy winter!)

I have a brand new software in The Secret Visual Laboratory that has a number of distressed photo filters that I'm using a lot lately. Thanks for the kind words, I really like this effect myself.

Last October I told myself that I was going to enjoy the winter weather this year ... it's a struggle everyday as we've already accumulated an official 106.7" of snow so far this season. :O
