You already know what I think about this one!

I did a little more nature play/land art yesterday. Had your sky cube on my mind the whole time!
What's happened to that?

If memory serves, you're talking about "Sky Box", my failed project from 2008 - you may recall that it fell apart with the first stiff breeze. I don't believe that you're referring to my "Erosion Bundle", which is also a small cube still hanging in a tree outside in the "Big Back Yard". Either way, I'll be working on "Sky Box II" in the very near future. This time, I might attempt to graft some branches and create a living cube.

Yes, that's the project I meant. I look forward to Sky Box II and I love the idea of grafting for a living cube...love that idea a lot!

For years I've been thinking about planting a group of apple trees with the idea of using the espalier method to make a fence of them. The new idea will be more interesting I think; of course, it's going to take a few years to see results.

Then I'll get started right away! Well, maybe not, it's going to snow again today!
