Buried Treasure 2011 -

"Ode to Eric Fischl"
digital drawing by Mick Mather
This image is a re-post that is a few weeks short of 3-years old. I offer it as part of Seth Apter's project, Buried Treasure. Anyone can participate and the idea here is for artists to post past favorites on this date. However, if you're just hearing about this for the first time, I know that Seth will allow for late entries. Follow the link and start digging through your morgue file.

This is a shower curtain! Scary, reminds me of Psycho.

Been busy, met Elegia on Wednesday and some other dear friends and we had a drinking marathon in the sweaty Helsinki!

Thanks so much, Jo. I peeked past the blinds at your place and loved the painting, "Blue Squares". I saw a teapot too ... I'll have some Twinings Irish Breakfast Tea next time you drop in here. :)

Yes, there's a heart there alright. I don't know whose it is or how it got there though. :|

Is this digital? Amazing, whatever tool you're using!

Indeed it is. Fractal flames, digital drawing tools and lots of layers and lots of manipulating.
