One of the Finnish Sisters, my good friend SusuPetal, has thrown down the gauntlet so to speak, with a documentation of one of her fabulous mixed-media paintings. Over at her blog she says, "I challenge you to document your process of making something you like." Okay, here's mine.

Thanks, Elegia. Susu and I (unbeknown to each other - at first) have been painting a lot this summer. This is one of three fairly large pieces painted on newspaper.

Mick, this is fabulous! Painting on newspaper is interesting, with each layer of paint and color, the piece changes in fabulous ways.
I've been mostly using tissues and napkins to paint on, how have I totally forgot newspaper! Thanks for reminding me!
And thanks for answering the challenge.

Your King hasn't left the building! (he's hiding in the basement...)

Answering this challenge was lots of fun, Susu, and thank YOU for initiating it. Well, can't stop to chat further, I have to let The King out of the basement! :O

I hope I haven't mislead you, Jo, but this is my documentation of a recent painting of mine done on newspaper. Susu's "Birth of A Painting" can be found at her blog, here. Say, it's your turn now, isn't it?
