Don't be confused, this is not a political statement nor does it hold any contemporary reference to recent shifts in political power driven by anti-war sentiment over The Iraq War. This week's theme at Illustration Friday, might, brought to mind a time in our History when the dangers of a world in flux were much better understood and easier to define as a global menace. With Pearl Harbor Day right 'round the corner, this has everything to do with the Spirit of American Freedom - for all, not just for us - at a time when we may have been closer to losing it all than we realize or want to remember.
