Julie's gone -

"La Paloma Roja Proclama 'Que Está Ida Julie'"
digital collage by Mick Mather
At first, I was thinking that Sister Existence had made another appearance but it was not to be. Instead, one of my neighbors who happens to be moving, cut into the line. The red dove knew it all along and now we know it too ... Julie's gone.

I feel like I should be able to be more specific about what I like--I like everything--the repetition of form and line, the repeating circles, the little "flower shape, the "framing"--it's so nice.

"... the movement of la paloma's flight wings - all those years ago - manifest in a dangerous vortex that whisks fair Julie away ..." :)

Thanks, Kevin ... I peek in your windows every day to see what you're up to. I particularly enjoyed the Elhoff you posted on Tuesday.

I think Alice, by way of Jefferson Airplane, said it best, "One pill makes you bigger, one pill makes you small, and the ones that Mother gives you don't do anything at all."
