In its short-sightedness, blogger has turned its back on those of us stuck with old operating systems and I'm forced to find a new blog host. As many of you know, my primary medium and working method is digital collage composed of manipulated photographs often combined with digital drawing & generative images. In another life I was an Arts & Culture consultant specializing in revitalization planning through creative public art projects and programs with Economic & Community Development Departments of towns, villages and cities. Great quote...I .particularly like the colors on the table.
Those are not champagne bottles!
A lighthouse is comforting -guide through the dark.

The original photo was quite difficult to work with ... once the colors began to come out, I felt like I was halfway home. :)

I like it when ordinary objects are given a sheen and new life... and the quote about the lighthouse-- lovely.

Thank you, Donna. What I especially liked about the quote was the fact that the image is of two water-based paint bottles that came with an easel set for my youngest granddaughter. From the bottle, through the brush, to the canvas, I could imagine, comes a lighthouse.
I like it...I thought they were bottles of bubbles, the blowing type not the drinking sort.
