In its short-sightedness, blogger has turned its back on those of us stuck with old operating systems and I'm forced to find a new blog host. You will now find MickMathersARTblog at Blog.com - use the direct link found in the masthead and remember to update your bookmarks. This place will continue as another archive for a large body of my work. As many of you know, my primary medium and working method is digital collage composed of manipulated photographs often combined with digital drawing & generative images. Netlabels, bands and musicians can view samples of my CD Cover Art at Mick Mather Illustration located on Tumblr. In another life I was an Arts & Culture consultant specializing in revitalization planning through creative public art projects and programs with Economic & Community Development Departments of towns, villages and cities. In these hard financial times this work is more important than ever and I still accept consultancy inquiries. You can contact me by email at: mickmather@yahoo.com

This is hilarious, glad you are in the Junior Circuit where they have designated hitters. Still batting over 400.
M-Rod, M-Rod, M-Rod!!!!!
We need to see the back of the card.
In case you hit the ball!!!
Funny.
Oh, take me to the ball game!

The back of the card? Hmm, that will have to wait for Selfportrait of the Artist as a Set of Statistics.
These are so much FUN!
WOW! This is SUPER COOL! I love your self-portrait series, a great addition.
you know already--that your self-portraits are my favorites-- so creative-- and not knowing much about baseball-- won't be able to leave a funny comment like John..
layers:
Never sell yourself short as regards a less-than-informed comment, Donna ... not knowing anything about baseball would surely have an edge in that department! For exmple, you might have said, "Imagine how much more valuable you'd be if you had signed the card.":D
Mary Stebbins Taitt:
I always wanted to be in The Show, Mary ... but, that dream was killed by my third game way back in Little League.
Hit it!
Very cool! Batter up!
Now I want a hotdog...
hpy:
... that's right! Hitting it a ton over here!
Lucky Dip Lisa:
With mustard? or ketchup? ... careful with your answer!
