Thursday Challenge: Shapes -

"Shapes"
photograph by Mick Mather
This week at Thursday Challenge the theme is shapes. My first idea was to post one of my monotypes from "The Basic Series - A Square Peg and A Round hole", when I remembered that this is supposed to be photography. Well, here's a recent photo for you, untouched, unfiltered and not a hint of manipulation!

So it's pure realism!

I like it, it's rough, but not tough.

Test? Can I test to jump in there? :D I mean if I could open it... Or do you want to test first?

Yes, a straight shot with no tickery from me. It was very difficult not to though. :)

Please be my guest and take that leap of faith! No jumping for me ... I bet there's a ghost down there! :O

Thanks! I was walking down the street the week before last on my way to Lipe Art Park when I spotted this. I felt the same way about it and it stopped me in my tracks! :)

The gold is fading away. Was it pure test gold?
