Thursday Challenge: Family -

"Leighlund Ruth Vincett"
digitally manipulated photograph by Mick Mather
Sorry to walk right in and walk right out but I'm well behind in almost everything that needs doing before tomorrow morning! For this week's Thursday Challenge theme, family, I offer yet another image of my beautiful granddaughter. I did this in color as well, but the b&w spoke louder to me while making a decision. Enjoy!

OMG, I just read a book of Petra Hammesfahr. Well, that's nothing, but that picture reminds me about it. You should see the binding of that book!

I'm happy to hear that others enjoy the look of this in b&w. It was taken last year in a cemetery near the family plot. Other families had left mementos at various graves and Leighlund was quite busy collecting some of the toys. I thought it fitting that she should play with them a while before placing each treasure back where it belonged.
