I suppose it does look like that but it's just old age, not a fire. This is the framework of an old sawmill built in the late 1800's. I put the original photo through some heavy paces at the Secret Visual Laboratory. :)

You have Edward Steichen rolling in his grave...there is a dichotomy when your image is in B&W than in in color. Mnochrome makes the building look truly acient since you fool us into thinling it was taken before electricity.

This grew out of a fairly normal color photograph that I cropped, then dragged through the secret visual laboratory. In that regard, the light in the photograph is already there and the manipulations used didn't move anything around at all.
