Old towers are romantic. Although that doesn't look like a castle tower.
No princesses there.

I miss the old watertowers...

Remember all the old windmills? In Nebraska, it seemed like every farm had at least one. I'm assuming they were all over the country...pumping water from wells?

I feel very fortunate to have taken this photo before the tower was taken down. Yes, windmill water pumps were very common here as well. My Uncle's parents had one at their farm.

Running through hay fields, corn fields and overgrown fields is a delight that I wish every kid could have and remember always.
