digitally manipulated fractal flame collage by Mick Mather
I'm on V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N ... I'll be unplugged much of the time but may pop in when you least expect it.

Like a beautifully handcrafted acoustic Taylor guitar.

Thank you, Susu, and I'm not completely unplugged ... yet. I'll be in tomorrow for sure! :D

I'm not familiar with that guitar. If I were, this would surely be the classic "Jasper Johns" signature edition. Kind'a - sort'a - maybe! :D

This is great! I love it, the scratchy "Mick was here" sort of effect carved into wood...

Are there more too come?

Although it doesn't happen often, when I get bored I go back to familiar, fun things. Like drawing in one of my favorite digital programs for example ... today's post happened to appear from practically nowhere while working with a pair of layered fractals. So, the question, will there be more to come? Yes, I think so.

While frittering away an evening playing with an old fractal program, I was remembering a Jasper Johns show I attended last year. Glad you enjoyed it! :)
