"Stimulus Package II (Circle IV)"manipulated digital photograph by Mick Mather I'm already hard at work on the sequel to Seth Apter's project, Disintegration Collaboration, with a series of digital prints. These will come into existence as manipulations of a series of photographs I took of the only bit that remained from Stimulus Package I, a piece of string. You can see the original photograph at my other blog, No Matter What Shape-The Archive. I've also begun toying about with the idea of creating a sculpture that will use the string as a foundation, coating it with plaster and shaping it as I go along. Then what? Out into the wild again for further disintegration? ... and he scratches his head!Labels: Art Everyday by Mick Mather, digital prints, Disintegration Collaboration, manipulated digital photograph, sculpture, Seth Apter

Stimulus package or survival kit, there's something I'd need right now. Not going so well.

I understand ... better than you may realize. Is there anything I can do? Send me an email.
You need to go to the libary I learned how to make dolls with wire and paper machie there it is entertaining what you can learn at the libary.
I love this one also - it dances while remaining still. Like a mona.lisa. smirk but kinder.
Very very nice, Mick.

I think I have a few books that will help in my own library but I appreciate the tip. My thinking seems to be taking me down a road once traveled by Giacometti.

I thank you for the comment. As I gaze upon it again, it's a bit like a fine, Corinthian leather patch that's coming undone!
Ah, I like the tan colors. I see pillows there and a head resting on them, interesting.

Interesting indeed! I always enjoy hearing what others see in the work. :)
