Thursday Challenge: Machines -

"When Steam Was King"

This old steam engine, beautifully restored, is part of the Steam Engine Exhibit at the Erie Canal Park in Camillus, New York. When it comes to heritage tourism, there's quite a bit to see at this location along with as many miles of walking/biking trails you might care to access.

I have alwasy wanted to go upstate more maybe on a train ...as the dead once sang..."driving that train, hi...."

There's nothing like going by train. Although drivin' that train and the altered state aren't what they used to be (if, in fact, they ever were).

BTW, I've been in the cabin of steam train when I was a child. Many times.
