Classromm chairs or chairs for a political meeting? We'll have elections soon, for the Europarliament (of I'm not wrong) , but I'lm not going to attend any meetings before that! No!
Oh, this is beautiful, I love the colors.
Summer, yes!
hpy:
I bet these chairs are used for both!
SusuPetal:
I was using a filter that I hardly ever use and, BAM!!! These colors popped up! :D
I always preferred these desks: (General Arnold school at LAFB, and LoneTree school at BAFB and Comenius School in Omaha) It always struck me odd that as we needed MORE space for books, we were given less.
At least in my experience. Cuz once I hit high school...all my desks had little bitty tops for my books or my paper and pen.
I love the feeling in this image. The colours remind me of spring mornings...and looking outside the windows thinking on how much I couldn't wait for summer.

I had more than one class in junior high in rooms that overlooked Interstate Route 81. I even had a notebook where I checked off every northbound 18-wheeler that went past in 40 minutes. I dreamed all day long of riding along or driving myself, ever onward, over the next hill. I've suffered from wanderlust my whole life and I still have that urge to run for the horizon every spring.
Chairs are one of those objects that just seem to have some much inherent artistic potential. I like the look of this and the contrasting colors just work.
Seth:
I, too, have always been fascinated with chairs and have a sketchbook filled with drawings, collage, paintings, monotype, mixed media and digitally manipulated studies. As you may have noticed, on the opening page of this blog sits one of my favorite chair paintings after running it through the Secret Visual Laboratory.
