Thursday Challenge: Childhood -

The weekly theme at Thursday Challenge this week is childhood. One of the sub-themes was play and this photograph of my granddaughter doing just that in her sketchbook seemed a perfect fit. After putting her drawing through the paces at the Secret Visual Laboratory the finished manipulations were knitted together. As I look at this, it seems amazing that she was just 4 years old when she drew this selfportrait ... well, maybe it isn't a selfportrait, more likely it's Cinderella or the Little Princess, both of whom she adores.

Even if it's Cinderella it looks much like herself. Maybe Cinderella looks like Leighlund too! They are both lovely.

There's no doubt that she's my little princess, thanks, Hélène.

Since you asked for it one day last week, did you ever get to see this?

That I am, sir. She's a blessing and one BIG handful in a tiny package ... I wouldn't trade a single minute away for all of the world. :)

A beautiful child. Cildren are a blessing, and grand children maybe even more so.

As a child, play is a normal part of the day.
