In its short-sightedness, blogger has turned its back on those of us stuck with old operating systems and I'm forced to find a new blog host. As many of you know, my primary medium and working method is digital collage composed of manipulated photographs often combined with digital drawing & generative images. In another life I was an Arts & Culture consultant specializing in revitalization planning through creative public art projects and programs with Economic & Community Development Departments of towns, villages and cities. Mick, that is most interestign how you work in small size - I always thought you reduced the file size to display here....

When it gets down to the wire, the restrictions of size have almost always been forced to follow the capabilities of the technology I had available. Hand-me-down computers (I started with Windows 3.1), no modem, small monitors, slow processors, incompatible software and other problems. On the bright side, during my 10+ years as an avid mailartist (before computers!) I was working small anyway ... so, no leap of faith when I got that first, well used Zenith data systems computer. :)
