I admire how every day you create small wonders - small because of he file size not he.art.

I had to scroll through all October to find cupid - and saw the quality day in and day out.

My best, happy tur.key day

First, I thank you for these very kind sentiments regarding my work. From my perspective, doing it every day is, in many ways, it's own reward and attributable to a work ethic learned on-the-job when I was in the field of arts management and working with a small team of excellent program directors. The cumulative effect of doing the best one can do, day in and day out, rubbed off and accompanied me to my own studio. Too many people consider artists to be infused with talent from some supernatural force when consistent, hard work is the real endowment. Recognition from other artists that I admire, like yourself, is a blessing and further reward.

so true! art is work work work-- If someone says to me-- You must be having so much fun-- I don't know how to respond to the the word "fun"--

I agree about a response to such a question. Of course there's always more fun than not in our work but much of it is trying, frustrating, troubling, painful and anything but fun. The satisfaction on the other side, win lose or draw, is a remarkable addiction, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. :)

PS: So sorry to report that I've removed your wonderful blog from my roll ... sadly, yours is one of the sites that routinely crashes my computer. It doesn't mean that I don't love your work ... sigh.
