It's New Year's Eve. An early dinner was enjoyed - yum, lobster tails! - and now the annual attempt to stay up til the clock ticks over. As a road musician for most of my young adult life, playing the clubs until 3 or 4am on this night every year has made me appreciate staying in. No curmudgeonly view this, rest assured...don't mind me, you kids go have fun! You have a designated driver, yes? Good, I knew that you would.
