It happens rarely, but tonight's post is a straight photograph with no manipulation. As I began thinking of this week's theme at Moody Monday, it was the Native American concept of the spirit that struck me. While flipping through my photo archive, this foot-high waterfall spoke to me again...I closed my eyes, recalling the hymn of these singing waters on a bright, summer day when this was taken. I bet most of you can summon forth memories of your own days like this, when everything around you is alive and engaged. The trick is attaining that state of silent grace, to stay quiet long enough to hear the raucous debate.
