Counting down -

"Summer, Slipping Away"
digital collage by Mick Mather
Elegia said something like this in a comment in yesterday's post and it struck me that, perhaps the nice weather has truly passed in Finland. I suppose the Finnish Sisters will all chime in, letting me know that, yes indeed, it's back to sweaters, jackets and not long for an even heavier coat. Tonight's image speaks to that issue.

A very good picture for autumn, but the weather is not at all like that in France today. The sky is almost blue and I think that we'll have a nice day. Ir's early yet, but I got up at 5 AM so it's not that early for me.

Beautiful and dark figure! I just bought a new coat few weeks ago. I'm not happy when I have to use it (even if it's beautiful - and black) :(((

There's something very autumn in your pic!

It's here already, the sweaters and jackets. It blowing and it's cold, only +13 Celsius.

Your pic is not about autumn, it's about August in Finland.

We've had fairly good weather; although, it seems to rain almost every day in the late afternoon or evening. That's not unusual for this area and I always carry my umbrella. :)

I only chose this image because it reminded me so much of what you were saying the other day. I also think there's a bit of a resemblance to your dark and mysterious persona, Elegia.

I was afraid of that. Are you already digging a hole to crawl into for the long winter, Susu?

That's a little too deep for this particular remedy, don't you think? :D
