I first thought that it was one of your manipulated pictures! So the graffiti must be good this time.
Graffitis are inspirational, good material to work on.

It's a controversial subject regarding the worth and value of graffiti. Is it art? Is it Taxonomy? Sociology? Commentary? Revolution? I don't know, I think it's a bit of all of those fields of study ... and more. With this image, I was quite taken by the design and the colors. I happen to like graffiti as a painting style and gave been studying it's development for as long as I can remember.

The comment above is as much for you as it is for Hélène. I do find much of the graffiti movement inspirational.

Thanks, Sarah. I think one is likely to find visual stimulation just about everywhere.

I was going to say that the photograph doesn't do this work justice but, looking again, I see that it does. Glad you like it, Mary. :)
Ah yes that graffiti debate...some of it's just crap (most of it), but some of it really just moves you and you can't help but look and even admire. You know it's wrong, wrong, wrong to deface public property, but still.....I just want to give these guys/gals canvases and say, "OK go for it!" and see what they come up with.

I feel much the same way about it as you and there are those who've taken it to another level. Modern graffiti has been evolving for quite a long time and I'm always enamored of the good stuff, legal or not.
