"Reflections"digitally manipulated photograph by Mick Mather I took the original photograph from a moving vehicle and was rather surprised by the reflections discovered in the windows when I looked through the photo-set weeks later. As I began working my magic with the plug-in filters and manipulating software programs, those same reflections became secondary to the figure who also seemed to be reflecting on something. In both cases, the windows and the girl, there's little evidence left of either circumstance.Labels: Art Everyday by Mick Mather, digitally manipulated photograph, plug-in filters, reflection, windows

Oh, I like this. It's airy and creepy, but not too frightening.
Alien!

LOL - I think we've both been spending far too much time at Elegia's blog! :D
She makes us weird...!

I wouldn't have used the word weird, but nice. I must be weird then!

LOL - nice and weird!
It has a diaphanous texture to it I like, very pleasing, to me it's almost like looking at something in water's reflection. Quite good Mick.

I say thanks for the positive comment and for your take on the piece. I must admit, I'm having second thoughts about the piece. I enjoy pushing the envelope to the point of busting through to the other side, often finding myself in relatively unfamiliar territory. Anyway, here it must stand.
