Last exit to Brooklyn -
aimless, excepting a beeline for an exit
to the anonymous, ordinary street went he,
without a glance in any direction,
and disappeared ..."

Great image, Mick. Iconic.

A lot of things were going through my mind while creating this piece ... not the least of which were your subway photographs.
Or melancholy man, maybe. Anyway, I like the sad mood in this pic.
SusuPetal:
When the dreams of broken hearts return, yes, a little sad. :|
This is great, I like the gesso look and the mystery. I like the way he leans to get a better view of what ever is out the window...
What an extraordinary ordinary man! Do you know where he's hurrying?
Lisa Sarsfield:
I meant this to have some mystery and I'm pleased that you got that from this piece. As for the leaning? I'm certain he feels like there's something ominous out there. :)
hpy:
Yes ... he's going nowhere! :)
But where's nowhere?.
hpy:
Nevada, for one. But, for him, everything on the other side of those doors.
Very ascetic, but in a good way. Less is more in this case! The man without face, the man without past...
Elegia:
A minimal piece in many respects. Thank you, Elegia. :)
