Illustration Friday: Visitors -

"Visitors"
digital collage by Mick Mather
The title of tonight's post is also this week's theme at Illustration Friday. This image has been languishing in another file called Sighting at the Summit and was part of The Maps Series. As I drifted through the stacks of unfinished work it occurred to me that this would fit in quite well here, and, it is done!

Glad I'm not in Roswell now! Or maybe I would like to see those visitors ;) Very virtuoso answer to that challenge!

Aliens was the first thought that came to my mind when I saw the challenge. Weird. I believe most people settle on relatives, friends and neighbours when thinking about visitors.
How odd can you get?
Well, I had nothing that suggested to aliens, so I made visitors of ones' mind....not mine, ha ha.

But this pic. It's really cool! I just love the map! And the pic lures the mind to wander into adventurous thoughts.

First, my thanks for the wonderful kudos. The Roswell Story is an interesting one on so many levels. At the end of the day, the lack of any overwhelming scientific investigation or evidence, in my humble opinion, leaves it firmly in the category marked MYTH. If I'm proved wrong? Yeah! I sure would like a ride in one of those babies!

How odd can you get? Try this! My first thought was visitors of the mind! After a long, grueling week back at the office I was simply too tired to pursue that piece when it began to crash and burn. Should I post the failed, alternate version here for The Finnish Sisters? Okay!

I might have thought of aliens had I participated. But you can't know afterwards.

Yes, it's true that once the Genie has been let out of the bottle, you can't undo. :)
