Thinking back, thinking ahead -

"Struttin' Down the Boulevard"
digital collage by Mick Mather
Even as we go through an arctic cold front and a major blizzard, I dream of the day when all the pretty girls will once again stroll down the street. Bedecked and bedazzling in short shorts and heels, sporting accoutrements of the day and the style of the season. (Sigh!)

Dreaming...

I dream, too, but for different reasons:)

And the spring will come!

There's sun in your pic.

I love these "simple" images of you.

I now that feeling, as a little girl, a long time before Easter I wanted to wear short socks instead of woolen stockings. My mother never allowed to do it.

Thanks, Trijnie, this means a lot to me. I bet you were cute as the dickens when you were little. I'd pay good money to see you trying to get past mum in those short socks too! :D

WOW! Mick, I love this! I had a coworker who always celebrated the first warm day of spring when the women were wearing skirts. But this piece is wonderful in pants, I love the liens, colors and composition!

A friend of mine always said that spring was when women dressed short. Oh, how he loved spring.
