In its short-sightedness, blogger has turned its back on those of us stuck with old operating systems and I'm forced to find a new blog host. This place will continue as another archive for a large body of my work. As many of you know, my primary medium and working method is digital collage composed of manipulated photographs often combined with digital drawing & generative images. In another life I was an Arts & Culture consultant specializing in revitalization planning through creative public art projects and programs with Economic & Community Development Departments of towns, villages and cities. this puts me more in mind of rain than of umbrellas...that way that a rainy day blurs the light while reflecting it...rainbowy, too.
and come to think of it...the tops of umbrellas are a part of that...as they get wetter, they reflect the traffic lights, and porch lights...
dang. it's like that around here these days...it's december, but you'd never know it. no snow. lotsa rain though.

When I was working on this it was a paltry 7º with a sub-zero wind chill and blizzard conditions! I'll take those April showers and none too soon! :D
