That's correct, Susu, no shaving or part of the sideshow goes missing! :)
I was just talking about this condition (hairsuits?) with one of my clients. I'm not sure I spelled it right, but I was talking about how birth deformities and strange medical conditions could land you in a sideshow to make a living.

I'm not sure of the medical condition but it is a somewhat well known, if rare, disease. The bearded lady is, I believe, a much less severe version that also gives the sideshow Joe Joe the Dogface Boy!
