Another blast of winter -

"A Grand Low Day"
digital collage by Mick Mather
Today, the sky here looked too much like this as a cold front scurried in. Pushed along by rain squalls and the threat of 3" of snow by tomorrow afternoon, I wonder if the luck of this Irish lasses' green dress is enough magic to hang onto our cool spring this year. Oh well, in a few more weeks we'll be mopping the collective brow and bemoaning a heat wave!

She is walking towards a cooler place - hope you do not get a late snow.

It has been a cold spring near new york city.

Daffodils in my yard are peaking.

I like your image - she does have lovely hair. Does she need a thin sweater?

John:
There's little doubt about the snow once the Lake Effect snow machine shifts into high gear ... and it has.

As for needing a sweater? Maybe, but we all know that women have that extra layer to keep them warm without one if necessary. :)

For now, it's warm enough on the high road. I think she'll be safe and warm at home before the cold arrives.

It's below freezing here and an inch of snow already in places.

Yes, that's spring ... our snow will be all gone by this afternoon. Then, turning to rain. :)
