Moody Monday: Lonely -

"Lonely Is The Shuttered Heart"
$50 unframed - LUCAS GALLERY

photograph by Mick Mather
I took this photograph last week and it seems to fit perfectly for the theme of lonely at Moody Monday. It always seems so desolate when a business closes its doors and that brown paper goes up and covers the windows. Eventually, even these makeshift shades will tear, stain, droop and sag, making the barren, bleakness within all the more melancholy.

Nobody's passing around there. Those poor doors ase waiting for some action.

I like the colours: they are very lonely and broody.

With my usual blush I say thank you. One can only hope that the space behind those lonesome, papered windows will breathe with life again someday soon. :)

Thanks for the most economic post I've yet seen, LOL! Yes, empty indeed. Almost ghostlike. :O

Thanks with my usual blush, Velvet. I like the idea that doors are meant to be opened - it's true that the only closed door is the one that an individual refuses in his or her own mind.
