"A Psychedelic Users Secret Garden"$50 unframed - LUCAS GALLERYdigitally manipulated photograph by Mick MatherAs always, although I haven't said so lately, Dale Hudjik's Thursday Challenge always offers a multiple of ideas with every theme. This week garden is the topic and I went with a rather straight (ahem) forward image of a chair next to a Spring garden. From there things began to twirl, ripple and melt...as they will for the serious user or unaware thrill seeker. The electric drip of pure color and sound flow, puddle and pool on their way to a trance state and the door to enlightenment. Dude, pass the kool aid! :D Labels: $50 unframed, an Artwork a Day by Mick Mather, Dale Hudjik, digitally manipulated photograph, garden, Lucas Gallery, psychedelic, Thursday Challenge

This is romantic. Makes me think of Jane Austen, Brideshead Revisited, and other English surroundings, English gardens with the English rose sitting on somebody's lap.
I'm off to Tampere for a day. Maybe I'll see Kirsi...!

It's always a great joy for me when the work takes the viewer away to someplace else. Great company too, Jane Austem, Brideshead and an English garden.
A hug with a kiss on each cheek to you; but, you must pass them on to Kirsi who must pass them on to ... well, you get the idea. :)
I really like the wavy line tailing off from the chair as though some fanciful welder was at work. The contrast of yellow peaking through the green is also striking. Bill

Thanks for perservering and getting through with this comment, Bill. It's like my sweet ol' grandma used to say, you can't get enough fanciful welding! :D
