In its short-sightedness, blogger has turned its back on those of us stuck with old operating systems and I'm forced to find a new blog host. You will now find MickMathersARTblog at Blog.com - use the direct link found in the masthead and remember to update your bookmarks. This place will continue as another archive for a large body of my work. As many of you know, my primary medium and working method is digital collage composed of manipulated photographs often combined with digital drawing & generative images. Netlabels, bands and musicians can view samples of my CD Cover Art at Mick Mather Illustration located on Tumblr. In another life I was an Arts & Culture consultant specializing in revitalization planning through creative public art projects and programs with Economic & Community Development Departments of towns, villages and cities. Hey Mick! Great work! I like this (those colors really pop). I liked The Bridal Shop too (but, that's more girly now isn't it). Btw, I've tagged you in my blog. If you haven't the time to reply, no biggy, at the least it'll give folks a chance to check out your fine work.

As with most of my work in The Selfportrait Series, Trijnie, it's a composite of at least two images - so, the short answer is, "Nope, that's not really me." I'm there in spirit though! :D

LMAO - Laurel, you really must begin to pay closer attention! That's a Learjet Model 23 and those lovely lassies are the privileged spawn of International Wealth, not ladies of the evening. It's me for for now, but you guessed properly, not really. The only thing that kept me from actually being there was probably my financial statements and station in life! :D
