Everybody knows that guns are just toys for big boys walking dark paths. ;-)

LOL ... here at the Secret Visual Laboratory we subscribe to the policy of Safety First. There are a lot of dark paths out there. ;)
Oh no, this is no yesterday paper, this is the forthcoming autumn when your Finnish Sisters fade away to the dark and gloomy season and also the equal dark and gloomy mood....
But before that, let's enjoy the pale smile on their faces...
Your pic reminded me of autumn.
But I won't think about that today, nor tomorrow.
I'm on holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmm, that's a lot to consider alright. Like you, I'm not going to think about it either since I fully intend to enjoy ALL of summer first! Holiday? What holiday? I won't get a day off until the end of next week for our 4th of July wing ding. :)
You have been busy!! I missed visiting you. I love the toy horse and your jetty is fantastic. It has so much mood...dark yet calm. I can feel the temperature drop and the rain begin. Somehow this is night to me and not danger. I miss the birds and bird houses though.
Great news on the art openings, very posh. Hope they go well and you get the rest you need. Just don't spend as long as I have on the couch:)
Thankyou for your well wishes...and yes I did get real flowers!
Thanks for dropping in, Lisa. It sounds as though you're back in the swing of things. This week has been quite restful compared to last week but I'm always waiting for the other shoe to drop. I hang the show on Saturday and then jump right on into the creation of another public art sculpture that received a grant award at the end of May. I'll post images of it after installation and July is going to be one thrill ride after another once I get past our 4th of July celebration. :)
This is my nightmare I can see in the daylight too... If I have a bad day (like every day) :) This is weird, but I love it!

I'm always delighted to hear what The Finnish Sisters have to say about some of my work. So, let me jot this down in the ol' field tested books notebook: "nightmare I can see in the daylight". Yes, I think that covers it quite nicely. :)
