A familiar refrain -

"Lookin' Out My Back Door"
digital collage by Mick Mather
I don't suppose the lyrics to the Creedence Clearwater Revival song that I borrowed for the title of today's post are very revealing as regards the author's troubles in Illinois. I have my own ideas about it but, like the song, other sentiments assign simple pleasures to the safety and comfort of home, looking out the back door and surveying ones domain. Having had a bit of a long week with many more hours away from home than I really wanted, this concept sits quite right with me today. Well, I have a lot more idle looking to do, we'll chat later.

This is a little sad. I'm afraid nobody is coming through the doors, nor from the front, neither from the back.
