As I continue to collect my thoughts and to organize a working plan for this new direction my work is taking, I'm finding a renewed interest in some old works. Today's post, for example, has been laying around for months, waiting for this new perspective. It now seems to fit in quite nicely where this new thinking is taking me.
susupetal: A gorgeous part of the planet and good company too! I like where your mind has wandered here. :)
hpy: I know exactly how you feel, Hélène. I've had 3 twelve-hour days in a row at work with another one coming tomorrow. I so appreciate the fact that you always take the time to visit and leave a comment. That goes for all of The Finnish Sisters and I do believe that each of you feel the same. It's quite amazing that none of us have burned out yet.
lisa sarsfield: As I've often said, it's a treat to hear what others see. As far as the work feeding off of each other, I'm wondering how much this is being forced in my own mind? Either way, and as you say, the works do stand alone. :)
In its short-sightedness, blogger has turned its back on those of us stuck with old operating systems and I'm forced to find a new blog host. You will now find MickMathersARTblog at Blog.com - use the direct link found in the masthead and remember to update your bookmarks.
This place will continue as another archive for a large body of my work. As many of you know, my primary medium and working method is digital collage composed of manipulated photographs often combined with digital drawing & generative images.
Netlabels, bands and musicians can view samples of my CD Cover Art at Mick Mather Illustration located on Tumblr.
In another life I was an Arts & Culture consultant specializing in revitalization planning through creative public art projects and programs with Economic & Community Development Departments of towns, villages and cities. In these hard financial times this work is more important than ever and I still accept consultancy inquiries. You can contact me by email at: mickmather@yahoo.com

Tahiti and Gauguin, my thoughts wander off somewhere there.
Did I comment already? I guess not, even though your page has been open for a long time. So much to do, and so little time to comment.

LMAO ... now that's a creative way to look at this one! :D
YOU are the king of comments!

... (blush!) ...
I saw a skull with cross bones!
Interesting how the works are feeding off each other although the end results stand alone.
