That's like an image of my friend, fighting all alone against everything that's fallen upon him in a very, very short time. The real problem is, he's not the only one with problems today, he's just one of the first.
But, the sky is blue and the sun is shining - at least it was earlier in the afternoon.
I can really feel the storm's coming, brr!
This day sucks.
Mick, can I ask you... I'll still ask, you don't have to answer. Who is your candidate? I assume you voted. :)

In the grand scheme of things, it's only a single storm. One that we can all ride out I hope; and, the darkest hour is just before dawn.

I shivered too! :)

:O ... poor Susu! Come here, let me pour you some blackberry brandy. We can sit next to the window and watch these awful clouds blow by!

I don't suppose any of you out there are going to like my answer and, politically, I stand almost alone among my peers with my ideology. As most of you know by now, I'm not politically motivated nor very active in that regard. Since there's no real way to answer your question properly in a forum as short as this I can only tell you that there are issues on both sides of the aisle that I agree with and that I disagree with. In a nutshell, I'm in favor of less government intrusion, a flat tax rate for all with no loopholes, few entitlements and a hands-off foreign policy unless our sovereign soil is under attack. The Great State of New Hampshire has, as their State Slogan, words that may sum up the way that I feel about creeping socialism and the erosion of our freedoms as outlined and guaranteed in the Bill of Rights: LIVE FREE or DIE!
