NEW from Gandy Dancers Walk -

"Boonville Switch"
digital collage by Mick Mather
Here's a new work from my walking art series, Gandy Dancers Walk, and you may recall this companion piece from a few weeks back. It's quite similar but not matching. Little by little I'm beginning to get all of my ducks in a row with the idea that soon, there'll be a coffee table book available for a pound price ... something easy to read and fun to hold.

Indian Jones continues! I love this! Nostalgic, it makes me want to be a hobo!

That's the spirit! Let's hit the iron road and see where it takes us! :)

I've been away too long, missed too much. Have wondered how you were often and what wonderful sights would be waiting here.

This is great, I really like the map overlay and this is my fav of the 3 I saw today. This has a ghost like appearence...did I or did I not just see a map? very clever how the become one when they are 2 very different versions of the same thing...

I'm delighted that you have such anticipation and that you so much enjoy the images once you have enough time to visit for a while. I've been a fan of railroading, hobo stories and the romance of the open road for as long as I can remember. Did you know that the Hobo term for a tall tale is "Ghost Story"?
