Thursday Challenge: Toys -
This week Thursday Challenge sent me on a treasure hunt. As soon as I saw the theme, toys, along with the many sub-themes that Dale Hudjik always offers, I thought of my old collection of toys and cereal box prizes and went searching for it. Come to think of it, not much has changed when it comes to the purchase of breakfast cereal - if the prize is cool who cares what the cereal tastes like! :D

Yeah, the toyless cereal boxes of today stink. Kids have no idea what they're missing.

Yes, all the uneaten cereals... the one who invents something worth while that could be done with those cereals, should be nominated the genius of the year.
(I've sometimes used cereals in baking or cooking, but the amount used is so small, it doesn't solve the problem...)
About your pic: candylike colours almost make my teeth ache, that was the effect! The pic is funny in a way, also nostalgic and that brings a drop of sadness to disturb the pastelle colours. And that's good.

I couldn't agree more and even when we find a cereal with a prize inside it's certainly not the same as the good old days. My box of treasure seems all the more precious through this prism. :)

Thanks so much, with my usual blush. You know, as I look again, it appears that I have a bag full of prizes ... I wonder what kernel of cereal is at the bottom of the bag?

Now you've gone and done it! The inventor in me is now awake and trying to find a solution to the uneaten cereal problem.
As always, I love what you have to say about the work. You always put a spin on it that doesn't immediately present itself to me - "my teethe ache" and "drop of sadness to disturb" ... marvelous. Thank you, Susu (blush!).
Ooh, this is nice. I could eat them. Somehow (don't ask how) they reminds me sweet and colourful lollipops. Slurps :)
