High Tech, Old Skool Style -

"It's A Modern World"
digital collage by Mick Mather
I was having a little fun in the studio today when this piece began to develop and take shape. In the end, the path led to a series of r-g-b separations where each color is offset one from the other. These were then taken to an earlier, posterized layer and dropped in. As for the computers in this image, who among us would ever have had room for these old, refrigerator-size units!

You've been busy over the weekend again, I see, playing casino (in my opinion) with old refrigerating commputers, listening to music - I like that yellow mellow color, it's so shiny - and having a more or less serious descussion about the weather in general and the return of the sun in particular!
And now i'll have to write xqqzzqpa without spelling it wrong ;)

Yes, always busy here at The Secret Visual Laboratory, Hélène. The music was looping in my head if not actually playing out loud and, I have to ask, "xqqzzqpa"? Chat later, I'm on a search for that sun you mentioned. I've heard about it, haven't seen much of it though. :)

I went out during weekend. How about that!

But now I'm here again, in your computer, Mick, and I'll ride along with that shiny bus.
