Up and away -

"Caught in the Net"
manipulated digital drawing by Mick Mather
I've crawled out of bed long enough to get some sustenance and twiddle away at an image that's been eluding me for a few weeks. This is it. In the throes of this miserable cold, perhaps it's still eluding me and I don't know it yet ... either way, back to sleep.

This seems like a new varieties of jellyfish, it's beautiful but dangerous.

This is a wonderful piece. Love the colours, especially together. It looks as though it could breathe or so delicate it could be damaged if it was touched by the human hand. I thought for a moment you were starting a nest series...get better soon!

I saw at Susu's earler toaday thet you haven't been feeling well. Hope it's going better already.

It's strange, you showed your buckwheat when you were feeling lousiest, I showed something similar about a year or two ago when I was feeling sick one day. Same colours too. It must have something to do with not feeling well.

Now there's a wonderful take on the piece although it may not be so new. Could it be a box jellyfish of the class cubozoa. Hmm, I wonder what Picasso knew when he was in swimming? :)

I'd love some cotton candy ... but not today. :(

It was funny that you mentioned a nest. The same thought popped into my head while working on it and I had a feeling that you might say something about it. :D

That is bit of a coincidence, Hélène, and I bet you're right about being sick and those colors. I wonder about things like that sometimes too. :)
