Is that a bottle on the top or a magic lamp?
SusuPetal:
I took this photograph through the window of the condominium where I used to live. You're seeing an electric candle - battery operated - where the flame-shaped glass on top is a beacon of peace during the holidays at that time. :)
I don't see the light! Maybe I'm so dark person or perhaps the light has died.
This reminds me of an old polaroid pic...
At first I thought I was going to see cherry blossoms. What a tease!
Elegia:
The light hasn't died, but the batteries have! It's dark as a tribute to you, Elegia. :)
Lisa Sarsfield:
As I worked on this I had just come from looking at a great series of Polaroid photographs. In the end, it appeared more like an Ektachrome slide in my mind but, obviously, the large size lends itself much more to the former. Cherry trees? We have some 'round here, but the blossoms won't be out until mid-May. :)
Obviously a picture of what happened when Roxanne did not put on the red light.
I have looked at pic for various days amd it has grown on me a lot. Very special.
John:
Roxane is surely an enigma. Either way, revisiting an image as they grow is one of my favorite pastimes as well. I bet there isn't a single piece in my art collection that I didn't visit at least a half dozen times before buying it. Of course, that was then, this is now!
