In its short-sightedness, blogger has turned its back on those of us stuck with old operating systems and I'm forced to find a new blog host. You will now find MickMathersARTblog at Blog.com - use the direct link found in the masthead and remember to update your bookmarks. This place will continue as another archive for a large body of my work. As many of you know, my primary medium and working method is digital collage composed of manipulated photographs often combined with digital drawing & generative images. Netlabels, bands and musicians can view samples of my CD Cover Art at Mick Mather Illustration located on Tumblr. In another life I was an Arts & Culture consultant specializing in revitalization planning through creative public art projects and programs with Economic & Community Development Departments of towns, villages and cities. In these hard financial times this work is more important than ever and I still accept consultancy inquiries. You can contact me by email at: mickmather@yahoo.com

This is very simulating pic. I could see a key hole here.
it reminds me of the MRIs i get every 6 months...i hate those things.
i like the maroons and purples together...the ghostly light and the drapes against the machine...a contrast of soft touches with painful ones.
Elegia:
A key hole? Yes! I can see it now! :)
Catnapping:
Thanks for droppin' in, darlin'! I won't make you ride through ... this time!
I see a human ear and a spider, and that makes think of the French saying "to have a spider on the roof", ie to be a little crazy. (Like me)
I like the combination of colors, although I can't picture what I see. Too tired.
hpy:
I see them too! It must be time for us to call the roofers and have the tiles redone. :O
SusuPetal:
WAKE UP, YOU! What can you see now? :)
little green man. close encounter of the twelth kind, sort of
John:
I haven't counted quite that many close encounters yet, having become stuck on those of the fifth (hic!) kind! :O
Wonderfully bohemian looking! I love it, the colours and the crinkle look are awesome!
Lisa Sarsfield:
Gee, these are autumn colors too, aren't they? :)
