They're called Adirondack chairs and, yes, that's a specific style of furniture in that area of New York State.
I'm sure that this snow belongs in Finland. Please send someone 'round to pick it up, won't you? :D

Thanks for brewing the tea. A nice down quilt and pillow would be nice too - with an extra log in the fireplace and a nice bottle of Sangiovese to bid welcome to the stars and the moon? :)
