Illustration Friday: Alphabet -

"Alphabet"
digitally manipulated photograph & digital drawing by Mick Mather
This is just so strange. A terrific theme at Illustration Friday - alphabet - came out today. I really thought this one would give me a dozen choices and what happens? Not a single, good idea came to mind. Sure, sure, I'm happy enough with this particular piece but I was hoping for something a lot better. It may yet come to me and if it does I'll post it. Right now, a good belt of cheap bourbon ought to do the honors as regards ushering in the Labor Day Weekend.

There's nothing wrong with this idea!

Tab A and B: medicine in tab.
Slot C: Pills in slot.
You can eat them all! There's so much medicine in the world - and so little time ;D

What alphabet got to do with this: I think there's medicine and pills starting letters a to Ö.

I have no idea what I'm looking at Mick, but I'll raise my wine glass to you anyway! Have a great weekend!

Cheap bourbon at this time of the morning here in Finland doesn't sound temptating -it ought to be champagne.

Or tabs a and b, as in your pic, which I find crystal cool and funny.

The Finnish Challenge for ThursdayPhoto has challenged people to shoot their cameras at exactly 11.00 today, the first of September and thus has been done -a good idea. Even I woke up in time, OMG, and it's Saturday, hey!

LMAO at both comments above. I could use some medicine this morning! Where's that aspirin! :O

isay:
Thanks very much for the support. In the end, I was really just having fun - playing with some filters and a drawing program. Since no clear idea of how to express the IF theme was forthcoming I sort of fell into a somewhat spacey piece with assembly instructions for who-knows-what? I guess we still don't know! :D

studio lolo:
LOL - it's quite alright to be confused, Laurel. I find myself scratching my head again today over it but see above response to Isay's comment.

Cheap bourbon in the morning? Susu, when I wrote that it was almost Happy Hour, somewhere! :D

I went to The Finnish Challenge for ThursdayPhoto and, oh my! What lovely toes you have! I was hoping to participate when 11:00 arrives here - only 45 minutes away - but I can't read the instructions for submitting. I really, really must learn how to read Finnish (sigh!).

You'd would have been late anyway, it was the Finnish time at 11 AM.
Reading Finnish is challenging...maybe I'll try to translate you the things you need to know in the future:))

Having a translator for events such as that one would be wonderful. Of course, I would've attempted to send my 11:00am photograph anyway if I could've figured out how. Maybe next time. What was worse, I couldn't even leave a comment at your photograph because I think I was putting the wrong information in the wrong boxes (sigh)!

the boxes are:

name
e-mail
webb-page

None is obligatory.

Remember to comment in Finnish:))

It seems I entered in that order and was still not sent through. Thanks for the clarification.

LMAO @ "remember to answer in Finnish!". :D
