Spooked -

As the days grow shorter and as the season acquires a chill, I've noticed a trend toward images of a creepier-than-usual nature. Far be from me to be the one to point it all out so today's post offers all of you a better source of information - or, disinformation, depending on how you feel about gossip. Anyway, I'm on my way out to the pumpkin patch with Leighlund today and I'm sure there'll be even more blather, chatter and prattle before the day is done. :)

Well, now that you brought it up...I've been noticing the same thing in your one. Of course given my take on this week's IF theme I'm hardly one to talk now am I?! I think it's a Halloween kinda mood.

I've noticed this in other places as well, Shani, as recent as a few days ago, right here in this blog. I don't know if we can attribute it to Hallowe'en but surely to the solstice and the imminent return of winter, cold and gloomy days.

I came to think why this creature looks so spooked out and now, after sleeping and awaking to this new and rainy Monday morning, on what a feeling!, I know: the poor thing saw me.
